Refund Policy
Last updated: March 14, 2026. This policy explains when refunds are issued, how to request one, and your rights as a consumer depending on your country.

02 — Default Rule
General Refund Policy
Subscriptions are non-refundable by default once access to paid features has been granted. This applies to all plans — athlete Pro, manager plans, and the Highlight Video bundle. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically generate a refund for the current billing period.
This default policy does not override mandatory legal rights that apply in your country. See the sections below for exceptions specific to your region.
03 — Grace Period
First-Time Subscriber Grace Period
If you are subscribing to Underdog for the first time, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, provided that you have not yet published a profile or used any paid features.
To request a grace period refund, email support@underdogtalents.com within 7 days of your first charge with your account email and a description of your request. We will review and process eligible refunds within 5 business days.
04 — European Union
EU Consumer Withdrawal Rights
Users in the European Economic Area have the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
However, this right to withdraw is waived if you expressly consent to the service beginning before the 14-day period expires and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the digital service has been fully performed. This consent is captured at the point of subscription via an explicit acknowledgment checkbox at checkout. By completing your purchase and confirming that acknowledgment, you consent to the service starting immediately and to waiving the withdrawal right once you access any paid features.
If you have not yet used any paid features and it is within 14 days of your purchase, you may exercise your withdrawal right by contacting support@underdogtalents.com.
05 — Brazil
Brazilian Consumer Rights (CDC)
Under the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (CDC, Art. 49), services contracted remotely — including online subscriptions — may be cancelled within 7 days of the purchase date, with the right to a full refund, regardless of whether the service has been used.
Brazilian users may exercise this right by contacting support@underdogtalents.com within 7 days of the original purchase date. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days.
06 — Highlight Video Bundle
Highlight Video Add-On
The Highlight Video bundle includes a done-for-you highlight video edited by our team. Because this service involves manual production work that begins shortly after purchase, it follows a different refund schedule:
- Before production begins: Full refund available if you cancel within 48 hours of purchase and before our team has started editing.
- After production begins: No refund for the video production portion. The associated Pro subscription follows the standard refund rules above.
- Dissatisfied with the result: Contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will revise the video at no additional charge.
Mandatory legal rights under CDC (Brazil) and EU consumer law still apply regardless of these terms.
07 — Subscription Cancellation
Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings inside the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — your access to paid features continues until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the current period.
For manager plans, cancelling your subscription will remove your managed athletes from your plan at the end of the period. Managed athlete accounts and their profile data are not deleted.
08 — Billing Errors
Incorrect Charges
If you were charged an incorrect amount, charged twice, or charged for a plan you did not select, contact us within 30 days of the charge at support@underdogtalents.com. Include your account email and the charge details. We will investigate and resolve billing errors promptly, typically within 5 business days.
09 — How to Request
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, email support@underdogtalents.com with the following information:
- The email address associated with your Underdog account
- The date and amount of the charge in question
- A brief description of why you are requesting a refund
Our team responds to refund requests within 48 hours. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank. For terms governing your subscription, see our Terms of Service.
